Your faxes and data
Your faxes and data stay yours. You give us permission to store, process and transmit them only to provide the service to you. How we handle personal information is in our Privacy Policy.
Draft, not in effect. Waiting for a lawyer's review.
These terms are an agreement between you and Faxbase for using faxbase.app. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you use Faxbase for an organization, you agree for that organization, and you confirm you're allowed to.
Faxbase sends and receives faxes over the telephone network for you, and keeps your team's faxes, contacts and history. We may add, change or remove features over time. If we remove something you pay for, we'll tell you first.
You're responsible for the faxes you send. You agree not to:

If your team is a HIPAA covered entity or business associate, don't send or receive patient information through Faxbase until you've signed our Business Associate Agreement. Once signed, it applies to that information alongside these terms.
Fax delivery depends on telephone carriers and the receiving machine. We retry busy and unanswered numbers, but we can't promise every fax arrives. Delivery confirmations show what the carrier reports. For anything with a deadline, send early and check the confirmation.
Prices and what each plan includes are shown when you choose a plan. Paid plans renew until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time; it takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for. Payments are handled by our payment provider, and we never see your full card number. We'll tell you before a price change applies to you.
You can stop using Faxbase at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or others at risk, and we'll tell you why unless the law or safety says otherwise. When a team closes, its owner can ask for a copy of its faxes and contacts before they're destroyed.
We work to keep the service running and your faxes safe, but the service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, as far as the law allows.
As far as the law allows, Faxbase isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or a missed deadline, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.
If someone makes a claim against Faxbase because of faxes you sent or your breach of these terms, you'll cover our reasonable costs of dealing with it.
If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top. If a change matters, we'll email you before it takes effect. Using the service after that means you accept the new terms.
